It's a large enough body of water that the wind is good from multiple directions.
Best out of the Southwest and Northwest.
Also good when the wind is out of the North or South, but the chop can be huge when the wind is out of the North.
May be gusty out of the West.
Grass rigging area.
Trash cans… That's it. You'll need to be self-sufficient at this sailing site, but it's worthwhile nonetheless.
There are large submerged rocks near-shore. (Even if you can’t see them, your fin will find them!) There's a submerged road at the right hand side of the parking lot. Don’t sail in water that isn’t at least waist deep.
There's a duck blind on the opposite side of the lake. It would be wise to keep ample distance during hunting season. =:-O
